Lucinda Jarrett 46 Ockendon Road London England N1 3NP December 1 , 1995 Dear Ms. Jarrett , Dr. Felix Cherniavskyy forwarded a copy of your letter to kind of November 16 , 1995 , rer writing which you are undertaking on the history of burlesque , with reference to Maud Allan . . is We are a theatrical dance archives as well as publishers . We published ( in computer format ) , Did She Dance - Maud Allan in Performance , la collection of comments on Maud which Felix had gathered from reviews , correspondence and friends of Maud . One of the most interesting parts of this collection ape sa series of letters written by Maud's tour manager to his wife . They are very revealing in that they provide a very close and experienced eye on the behaviour of Maud and the Cherniavsky Trio while they toured the Far East and Australia . We will be re - publishing this text in print in the first half of 1996. If you think this collection might be interesting for your research and you require it sooner than later , we could perhaps arrange to provide you with the complete text - unbound , in draft layout form in early 1996 . Felix has donated a quantity of his research material to the Dance collection Danse Archives , and if you are in Canada , you would be most welcome to examine this material here . Please stay in touch , as we would also like to see the results of your work . Sincerely , Lawrence Adams Co - Director
