ample since that is the range I received from the Encyclopedia of Dance for the same - sized article I wrote for them about two years ago , although they themselves suggested that this was on the low side ; it was , however , all they could afford . The same information noted above would apply regarding any letter to the Alberta Government ; it could only be in support of the project and not have anything to do with publication . I also note at the end where you say that you are very excited about the idea of a desk - top laser disc publication . I am wondering if you have not confused the organization that your agent was dealing with . I contacted Lawrence Adams of the Canadian Dance Archives when I received your letter and he stated that he had discussed something with your agent , but he had not been asked for a Letter of Intent , that he can remember . This organization is arranging to publish , on demand , on disc , various dance works . They have already a number of discs available for previously unpublished works which have had a hard time finding a publisher because of the small demand for the subject , and they are finding that there is an audience in the scholarly community for disc publishing rather than printed hard copy . I am not sure whether this disc publication allows the user to print from disc through their own computer , or whether it is a read - only situation , since I have not seen these items yet - only heard of them . Again , the matter of the Maud Allan exhibition leads me to suspect that you should be dealing with Lawrence rather than myself , and that your agent has confused us . The Encore - Encore ( Canadian Dance Archives ] project is located at 145 George Street , Toronto , Ontario , M5A 2M6 . I shall pass your letter to him . In the meantime , I trust you understand my confusion about all of this and just where everyone stands . Sincerely silfford collier cc . to LAWRENCE ADAMS ,
