TuS 1908 Ashion . M WOMAN BEAUTI FUL July 1908 the Salome dress is a close fitting sheath of black satin with the top and sleeves either of black tuile or cream colored heavy lace . From the top of the bodice under the arms all round depends a fringe of finely cut jet , reaching far below the knees and held in place round the hips with a sash of black satin with two broad ends in front , arranged in a manner familiar to us from Egyptian sculptures .
