The classical dancer again sbowed al remarkablo versatility in ber interpreta d . tion of music and on each appearance she was warmly applauded . Amongst her of contributions were two of Chopin's studien , e " A Soul in Bondage " ( O minor , Op . 10 ) be and " Capture of the Elfin Steed " ( G dat , Jl Op . 10 ) . She also appeared with con spicuous success in Grieg's Norwegian of Dance . No. 1 , and in three other pieces by the same composer : One of her most appreciated items was “ Barcarollo from 18 , | Tales of Hofmann " ( Ofenbach ) . Tho ch three Cherniavskys appeared togather in he a trio for pianoforto , violin , and cello by bs Avensky . Mr. Jan Cherniavsky's two od piano solo " Berceuse and * March Militaire , " were much appreciated . A violin concerto in G minor ( Max Bruch ) , played with much success by Ms. Loo Cherniavsky , and , " Cantabile and " Arlequin , " by Mr. Mischel Cherniavsky , veellist , completed what was in every re . of bet a most attractive programme . RS re u MISS ELLEN TERRY : Miss Ellen Terry will appear in Auck land on Thursday and Saturday of next week , and will give discourses upon as Shakespero's heroines . Those discourses will not be lectures in any sense of the word , for while she will not impersonate in costume the various characters , Miss Terry's discourse will be interspersed with many of the best known scenes from 1 Shakespere . During her long career , the artress has sustained the role of almost all the female characters contained in the works of the Stratford bard , and her art th has lent to these a new signifirance .
