TV d'Arey raised the question as to the morality of the historic and sinuous through a con munication in which he stated that he hoped the council would not stand for the ** Salome act on the " Happy Hike . " Mayor Power ordered the d'Arcy protest filed , but not before Trustee Conway had proposed a personal in vestigation of the dance , previous to the carnival , by a committee of one இது காவடி | Career of “ Salome . " . " Maud Allen , whose name was recently brought into international prominence through her interpretative dance called " The Vision of Salome . " is a Canadian by birth . Her father is a naturalized eltizen of the United States , so she con siders herself an American . Her early life was spent in San Francisco . Miss Allan studied the piano in Berlin , graduating from the Berlin Conservatory with high honors under Prof. Joachim Her dancing was taken up entirely by herself , and she ascribed her inspiration principally to the pictures of Boticelli in the Berlin galleries . A book written by herself and recently published was used as a souvenir for her 250th appearance at the Palace Theater London where her dancing has been one of the most sensa tional successes of recent years .
