The spaces of dance making are the spaces where dancers do what they do. It's also where it's possible to study and research what it is that dancers do. These processes are not contained within a record of performance and choreography. In this photo, the process of darkening the rehearsal space is a part of the rehearsal. Dancer to dancer knowledge about what that is intended to be, is made and transmitted throughout this process.
